We currently require a Project manager to work on a contract basis in Netherlands on behalf of our client who is a major operator. Long term contract position working 40 – 45 hours per week Mon to Fri.
As Project Lead Platform you are reporting to the Overall Project Lead and located in the department Offshore NL. You work together with the Overall Project Lead, Financial Project Lead, Project Lead Land Station, Project Lead Cable and Project Lead System Integration, and steer the project team for the Platform.
Tasks and responsibilities includes:
- Management of subproject Platform, including design, construction, transport & installation and commissioning of the jacket and topside.
- Management of the interfaces with other contracts (free issued items, cable) and OWF in close cooperation with the other project leads in the team.
- Performing effective contract management of the platform contract. Including management of site queries and changes.
- Support the Project Initiation team during tendering and contracting of the contractors for the Platform.
- Assuring the Contractors compliance of the execution with the design.
- Ensure compliance with requirements and goals set for SHE, time, cost, risk and quality.
- Setting up and managing a dedicated project team, closely cooperating with other project leads in the team.
- Ensuring project documentation and fulfillment of the licensing and certification conditions.
- Responsible for primary risk management as part of day-to-day job.
- To ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and the framework of Tennet's corporate manuals and guidelines.
- Areas of work: offshore transformer stations, offshore constructions, system integration, testing, commissioning, grid connection, AC transmission technology, cable connections.
- Managing the platform contract based on risk assessment in such a way, ensuring optimal contributing to the project goals, taking into account the department's and TenneT's broader goals.
- Aligning with relevant authorities and certifier.
- Contribution to standardisation of project management approach and optimisation of synergies between projects.
