Job description of Production & Machine maintenance Supervisor
Summary:- To be responsible for repairs, service and maintenance of all the machinery. Also responsible for production department functions.
Machinery Maintenance Responsibilities (Repairs, service and maintenance):-
* Maintain all machinery, including mechanical, electronics and electrical aspects. This will involve longer hours in the event of a machine breakdown
* To service and repair all machinery, including the sourcing and re-working/repair of parts for packing machines, grinders, roasters etc.
* To be the first point of contact for external contractors, including but not limited to, external technicians, spare parts manufacturers, fire , lift and alarm engineers etc
* To do basic building maintenance, including electricity, power generators, fire extinguishers etc
* To be the first point of contact for all vehicle service & repair technicians
Production Responsibilities:-
* To ensure effective and smooth running of Production Department
* To make sure that the paid production hours are maximum utilized in terms of man power and machine powers
* To supervise/sanction/control the over time hours to production staff
* To find all necessary means to minimize the wastage
* To check daily for finding the ways to minimize the cost of production
* To Co ordinate Production Sales departments to enable timely productions and buffer stocks of the finished goods
* To co ordinate Stores with Production department and to make sure that Production department gets allRaw/Packing material and spares as per the requirements in timely intervals without wasting the production hours for Materials.
* To attend all Government inspections in Factory
* To make sure the smooth and proper utilization of Power and Water services without any pilferages.
* Any other functions regarding Production/Maintenance in supervisory level
Qualifications for the above post
1. Educational Qualifications:- Minimum Diploma in Mechanical (or) Electrical with experience in electronics.
2. Work Experience:- 1-10 years of all-rounder experience in Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics repairs and maintenance of packing machines (FFS).
3. Other Details:- Applicant should have speaking skills in English language. Working experience in Africa and knowing Hindi and French Languages will be an added advantage.
Package for successful applicant
1. A monthly remuneration of 900$ will be paid and the salary review will be upon completion of 1 year successful service.
2. He has to work one year on bachelor status.
3. He will be entitled for shared bachelor accommodation, vehicle facility between office and residence, reimbursement of basic medical expenses, actual water and electricity bills and servant at residence.
4. He will be entitled for to a paid leave of 23 days after completion of 1 year of service with to and fro tickets from Kinshasa to home town in India.
