A lead operator within the offshore wind industry requires an Onshore Project Manager for the build of an Operations and Maintenance Facility.
Job Description:
- The Project Manager must have a strong building and civil engineering background with knowledge and experience of contract and site management, and will be required to ensure that the works are constructed to the highest standards of health, safety and environmental management and in compliance with the specifications.
- Delivery of the works within agreed budgets and programme and in compliance with the specification.
- Management of the Contract terms including financial monitoring and certification of payments, issuing of instructions and variations, monitoring progress against programme, attendance at progress meetings and preparation of management reports.
- Ensuring compliance with the CDM regulations.
- Management of the Contractor and their site activities ensuring compliance with health, safety, environment, security, and quality requirements.
- Management of the site supervisor, and all personnel within the client team including engineers, quality inspectors, health & safety inspectors, environmental consultants, consents personnel etc.
- Management of the hand-over process to the operations and maintenance team on completion.
