- Review product specifications, requirements and build documentation for completeness, accuracy, regulatory compliance and quality objectives.
- Develop, maintain and take action to improve quality metrics such as First Pass Yield, non-conformance trends and quality escapes.
- Facilitate and drive robust root cause analysis and corrective action for production problem solving through 7QC tools, PDCA Method, CAPA (8D).
- Review Quality report and work closely with inspector, manufacturing engineers and production management to identify and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
- Liaise with Customers, Suppliers and regulatory personnel to resolve quality issues.
- Use statistical tools such as Measurement System Analysis (MSA), Design of Experiment (DOE) and Statistical Process Control (SPC) to steer production processes.
- Collaborate across disciplines including Engineering, Production, NDP, Supply Chain, Quality and Management to ensure efficiency and consistency across the organization.
- Support documentation as customer required.
- Carry out periodic Internal and Supplier Audit.
- Reduce PPM levels and internal rejects thorough established quality systems and TS16949 standards.
- Participate in preparation of PPAP, FMEA & Control Plans.
- Support the Material Review Board (MRB) process by managing non-conformances, evaluating their root cause with implementing corrective and preventive action.
- Support the Corrective Action process as subject matter expert for product or process guiding Corrective Action teams in development of corrective action plan, implement permanent solutions and participate in evaluation of effectiveness.
- Design, analyze and implement quality control system for new product production process. Assess existing process for product with high risks and lead continuous improvement initiatives, utilizing Lead quality principles and tools.
- 3 years of relevant experience preferably in Automotive Industries with machining experience.
- Degree in Engineering field or related disciplines
- Must be methodology, strong analytical, numerical and reasoning abilities
- Excellent communication skills in English both spoken and written.
