Dangote Oil Refining Co. (DORC), a division of Nigerian conglomerate Dangote Industries Ltd. (DIL), has let a contract to Honeywell's UOP LLC, Des Plaines, Ill., for its grassroots integrated refinery and petrochemical plant to be built in southwestern Nigeria's Lekki Free Trade Zone, near the capital of Lagos.
As part of the contract, UOP will provide process technology, catalysts, and equipment for the refining complex,
The company also previously let a contract Engineers India Ltd. (EIL) for project management consultancy and engineering, procurement, and construction management for the integrated refining complex, which at the time, was to include a 400,000-b/d refinery and 600,000-tonne/year (tpy) polypropylene plant.

JOB DETAILS :
Knowledge Of The Following are Required:
* Preparation of Mechanical data sheet, Specification and Engineering drawings,
* Preparing enquiry requisition / MR,
* Evaluation of vendor offer and preparation of Technical Bid Analysis,
* Preparation of Purchase Requisition,
* Complete mechanical design of mechanical equipment and package,
* Review of fabrication drawings / Vendor documents,
* Interface with various departments like civil, piping, instrumentation & electrical etc. for detail engineering,
* Reviewing civil foundation drawing, nozzle orientation drawing, level sketch etc. with respect to equipment engineering drawing / data sheet,
* Reviewing material Technical Delivery Conditions (prepared by material dept & Process dept) to ensure that all material properties are in line with client requirement for the specific job & code requirement,
* Co-ordination with inter-discipline and client.
Design & Analysis KNOWLEDGE Of The Following:
Air Compressor package, Air dryer package, Water Treatment package, Refrigeration package, Cooling towers,HRSG,
HRSG, Desalination package, Vapour recovery package, Nitrogen Generation package, Unloading arms, Air dryers, Sea water intake system, Oil & Gas Fired Boilers, H2S separation package, Produced water treatment package, Coalescing treater package, Gas dew pointing package, Sea water treatment package, Filters, Mixers, Ejectors, Vacuum system, Flame arrestors, dosing system, Fired heaters, Cranes, Cooling towers Of Refimnery & Petrochemicals.
