Package depending on experience, plus normal benefits
Contract Duration - This will be a 1 Year renewable contract based on Project Requirement.
Qualification - Bachelor degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
Tasks and responsibilities
Designing and calculating construction and mechanical parts of experimental research installations;
Translating client needs to usable product specifications;
Review, evaluate and processing the most recent construction data on drawings and keep track of the latest revisions, including document lists in the electronic archive (Meridian) all according LMS and SGSI drafting specifications;
Drafting and designing with 2D (AutoCAD) and 3D (Inventor) design programs;
Designing and processing of Process Engineering Flow diagrams (PEFS);
Setup of KNR (inspection report construction & repair), pressure testing diagram and pressure testing plan;
In exceptional cases designing of lifting plans;
Design and set up of routing plan;
Specify materials and connection methods (weld/fitting);
Evaluate vessels and installations according Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) regulations and checking of strength calculations.
Setup of equipment and valve lists in close cooperation with client engineer and/or supplier;
Design and selection of equipment in close cooperation with client engineer and/or supplier;
Design and review installations according performance and safety;
Design, set-up and review the mechanical part of design note;
Producing latest mandatory documentation according applicable STCA standards and LMS system;
Setup of mechanical part of the Basis Of Design (BOD) en Basic Design Engineering Package (BDEP);
Active participation in HAZOP safety studies;
Active participation of project-evaluations;
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by active participation in Shell's mechanical department meeting;
Document filing in Meridian;
Keep track of activities in the log file of WAV andnecessary ready notifications in SAP;
Notify and reporting of unsafe situations and incidents to help improve safety;
