Job Opening for Senior Regulatory Engineer in Kuwait

Positions: - Senior Regulatory Engineer
Location: - Kuwait
Client: - Oil & Gas Company based in Kuwait (Direct Hire)


WORK PERFORMED:
a. Provide functional expertise to develop processes that meet the requirements of OE expectations and communicates them to his senior advisor.
b. Provide support to PZ/Wafra OE/HES Leads/Advisors to ensure skilled technical HES capabilities are available to execute projects within the Portfolio's Projects.
c. Coordinate PZ/Wafra project's Incident and Injury-Free implementation including all project design, field, and fabrication sites.
d. Manage ESHIA and associated baseline studies and impact assessments and ensure identified mitigation and/or control measures are incorporated into the Project's facilities design.
e. Responsible for the development and implementation of a permitting plan to ensure required approvals, authorizations and permits are obtained consistent to project schedule.
f. Ability to design and implement an OE/HES performance management system working with FEED and EPCM contractors. Ability to work with multi functional teams to develop integrated OE implementation plans. Ability to develop and implement an assurance schedule, with allocated resources, to provide line management assurance that OE/HES systems and processes are effective..
g. Use and apply OE Standardized Processes (RiskMan, CHESM, ES, ESHIA, MSW); Skilled in the application and leadership of the IIF protocol as an integral part of OE delivery on an MCP; Demonstrated general HES knowledge and ability to apply knowledge to MCP delivery model and Phase 5 operations. Skilled in the development and implementation of health, safety and environmental policies that deliver an Incident & Injury-Free culture.
h. Demonstrates ability to ensure studies and assessments are completed and identify major HES risks, solutions to mitigate them are developed and Contractor follows the Project HES Design Philosophy. Ensure facility designs fully comply with project HES design requirements and local Regulatory requirements.
