There is a job opportunity for a Bangalore location for senior piping design engineering.

Skills Required :
The candidate in this position is responsible for piping engineering activities related to Thermal and Combined cycle Power plant projects. In addition the candidate will be responsible for preparation of piping drawings, carrying out stress analysis in Caeser and Autopipe software and shall be conversant in working with 3D software such as PDS, SP3D. Candidate shall be familiar with 3D review software such as Navis works, Smart plant review.
Prior experience in Power plant piping engineering. Power plant engineering covers critical, Power cycle, Turbine integral and Balance of plant piping systems. Working with EPC contractors for overseas project is preferred.
Must have strong organizational and persuasive skills. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must have basic knowledge in power plant piping activities such as pipe thickness calculation, line sizing, layout engineering, basic and fabrication isometrics preparation, stress analysis using Caeser and Autopipe, Pipe support engineering. Should be familiar with piping materials, related codes and standards, ASME B 31.1 and IBR.
Must be conversant with 3D software such as Plant design systems (PDS) and/or Smart plant 3D. Shall be familiar in working with 3D review software such as Navis works, Smart plant review.
