Skill Set :
Knowledge of 1. Equipment layout 2. Safety & Escape route layout 3. Piping layout 4. Piping support layout 5. Bill of materials 6. Piping material specification & value material specification. Knowledge to analyze the Stress Analysis Reports to improve the system design by proper layout and support. Proficient on various codes & standards (ANSI, API, NACE, NFPA, IBR etc,) Knowledge of various vendor packages, review of vendor drawings and documents, knowledge of safety engineering. Lead the team of engineers, designers/draftsman, modelers and provide technical support and guidance. Ability to interact with various disciplines, vendors & clients. Ability to monitor the progress of project work with respect to schedule, man-hours spent keeping in view the quality aspect. Provide technical guidance to discipline engineers. Identify training needs for departmental staff and arrange class room or on the job training. Establish norms for various departmental activities. Allot manpower for projects and review and optimize man hours Assimilate emerging new technologies and develop capabilities to carry out designs. Software Knowledge on: * CEASER-II * PDS / PDMS * Dynamic Stress Analysis Tools.
