Manage operations of the Store
Plan Inventory for the Store at Category level
Negotiate with the Brands/ Manufacturers / Vendors for the margins, credit period etc.
Plan extra Incomes for the Store through Product Displays, Signages, Special Promotions etc.
Plan the Quarterly / Annual Store Target
Budget & Control the Expenses of the Store on Administration, Manpower and Selling & Distribution
Plan Quarterly / Annual Events and Promotions in the store to increase footfalls, improve the Sales of the Store
Plan Discounts on select Merchandise in the store on a continous basis to retain the VFM position of the Store
Improve the Customer Service of the Store through continuos trainings and on-the-floor-working with the Sales Team.

Phase 1 : 3 - 6 monthsLaunch the E Commerce business of
Setup the team for E Commerce
Inventory Planning for E Commerce in phased manner starting with 2/3 categories in Phase 1( and gradually covering the entire range of products).
Liaison with the IT Team to launch the E commerce Portal
Manage the E Commerce Portal
Special Pricing of Core Merchandise to increase the E Business (on monthly basis)
Set-up procedures for the Delivery of Merchandise to the Residences, in a 'planned period'
Budget & Manage the expenses on Distribution (Delivery) of Merchandise
Monitor the Billing v/s recovery process continously
Use Resources of existing B&G store for luanch of E Business esp. BnM Team, Accounts Team.
Cater to catchment of 5 -6 km around HOH
Phase 2 : 6 - 18 months
Create an independent team for E Commerce
Profitability of Business
From 3 Categories in Phase 1, launch additional 7 categories
Create a separate infrastructure for E commerce (if possible, partly shared with the company to keep expenses lower) esp.
