Lead a pipeline team and provide excellent results to our clients
As a Team Lead you will be responsible for our pipeline engineering team in Abu Dhabi. This includes the whole spectra of leadership activities such as hiring new employees, developing people and contributing to business plans and roll outs. In addition to the people management tasks, 70% of your time will be billable on projects. This means that you will coordinate all technical design activities and be responsible for the execution of projects as well as play a central role in our Business Development and tendering activities.

Your will cover the following five areas of responsibility:
· Profitable performance. Ensure consistent and client focused service offerings, project management of pipeline projects of some complexity, and participate in design reviews on pipeline projects besides your own.
· Strategy and business plans. Contribute to the development and implementation of our business plan in line with global and regional business plans.
· Partnering and creating relations. Participate proactively in sales activities and represent Ramboll Oil & Gas in both internal and external issues.
· Team leadership. Lead and develop a high performing project team with 5-8 members, provide visible, tangible leadership based on Ramboll Values and the Ramboll Project Management Model. Ensure that HR processes are successfully implemented in the team (e.g. Performance & Development Process, recruitment, salary review etc.) and provide technical and development guidance to project members.
· Governance. Ensure that Ramboll Code of Conduct as well as quality assurance procedures and systems are followed in all situations and plan engineering and quality assurance activities.

In addition, you possess the following qualifications:
· Minimum 13 years working experience:
· leading an engineering team of minimum 4 people
· technical lead experience and hands-on experience from offshore engineering
· Conceptual/FEED experience
· Preferred 1-2 years of experience with pipeline integrity engineering
· Knowledge of pipeline engineering disciplines
· Work experience from an international environment
· Fluency in English or high level skills both orally and in writing
Your new colleagues
The team comprises both offshore and onshore pipeline engineers who work on projects for local and international clients across the Middle East, Denmark and Norway. The projects include both Greenfield and Brownfield activities and pipeline integrity engineering is one of our growing market areas.
You will be a part of our Global Service Band and will therefore be stationed in Denmark for 2-4 weeks to establish relations with your colleagues here. As a team leader in the Global Service Band, you will be reporting to our Director of the Abu Dhabi office as well as the Global Director for Pipeline Engineering.
Ramboll has been working with subsea pipelines as well as onshore pipelines for more than 30 years and we have highly specialised and dedicated teams. We cover all aspects of pipeline engineering including cost estimating, concept and feasibility studies, detailed and follow-on engineering, offshore supervision and engineering support, construction management including assistance with procurement.
