Qatar Petroleum is embarking on a mega capital project that encompasses new offshore production facilities, new onshore NGL gas processing facilities, and associated pipelines.
Qatar Petroleum is embarking a major capital project to upgrade QP Refinery located in Mesaieed Industrial City. The project consists of upgrading existing refinery process units, dismantling existing process units and adding new process units to enhance Refinery throughputs. Most of typical refinery units/equipment/systems will be part of the project.
Qatar Petroleum is seeking an experienced Professional to join their org & to be appointed for the post of "Senior Mechanical Engineer (Static Equipment)" for offshore & onshore respectively.
Job Description:
* Experienced in Static Equipment design fundamentals related to onshore Oil & Gas facilities for highly sour fields
* Experienced in assessment and qualification of specialist static/packaged equipment suppliers in the Oil & Gas industry for an highly sour fields
* Fully familiar with international design codes, standards and Company standards and procedure and design software packages.
* Experienced in FEED & Detail engineering development and EPIC Contract execution of various Static Equipment packages encountered in the Oil & Gas Production/Processing facilities
* Familiarity with all aspects of Safety in Design including HAZOP, HAZID, QRA and Hazard quantification.
Effective communication and presentation skill
Minimum Requirement:
* B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (Full Time) from an accredited university.
* 12+ years of relevant experience in Mechanical engineering (Static Equipment) in Oil & Gas industry with an Oil & Gas Company or Consultant/ Contractor.
