Our client is a leading engineering and construction organization, and having recently won a number of projects throughout the Asia Pacific region, they now require a Procurement Manager.
The Procurement Manager will have experience in Procurement, Purchasing and Supply, ideally in the oil and gas sector or engineering and construction.
The successful candidate will report directly to the VP of Procurement for the business and be responsible for, but not limited to, the following duties:
-Providing project procurement leadership.
-Provide guidance and management of procurement, expediting, planning scheduling,
risk administration and change management.
-Preparation of procurement and progress reports.
-Communicating with project team and external stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will possess the following experience:
-Qualified to degree level in Engineering or equivalent.
-Proven track record of managing the procurement of materials for large
construction projects.
-10+ years work experience in Procurement for the Oil, Gas, Power, Construction,
Engineering sectors.
-English speaking and writing is essential.
-Tagalog / Filipino is desirable.
-Good oral communication skills (meetings with contractors, senior authority
management, technical disciplines).
-Asia Pacific experience highly preferable.
-Proven track record of managing the procurement of materials for large
construction projects.
