Position : Lead Piping Engineer
Experience Required : Minimum 15 years experience out of which minimum 7 years as lead engineer in hydro-carbon consultancy industry
Location : Delhi
Educational Qualification : B.Tech/B.E(Mechanical)
Job Description / Responsibilities
Lead significantly contributes to the overall project success and is responsible for the man-hours cost, equipment and material cost, construction and erection cost and the schedule. He organizes his discipline and ensures completeness of the discipline"s Engineering / Design deliverables.
Apart from leading, managing and supervising his team of engineers work, he also actively works on various work packages as needed, based on project size and complexity.
The Lead Engineer contributes to successful management of the overall project results in the following manner:
* Lead the team to work within the contractual framework and overall cost consciousness.
*Responsible and ensures quality of engineering deliverables and material supply according to contract requirements
*Providing realistic and reliable forecasts on man-hour consumption, quantities, cost etc.
*Manage man-hour consumption, quantities, cost, ensure achievement of milestones and minimize deviations.
*Contribution to the results of discipline in project regarding HSE and quality.
*Implement Lessons Learnt from previously executed Projects.
*Compilation of Lessons Learnt from the project he is executing.
*Inform and report periodically, realistically, openly, honestly and shall request for support whenever he feels the need.
