KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION :
MISSION:
Under responsibility of the project piping and layout lead for project activities and of head of piping flexibility section for technical solution and technology improvement.
The piping flexibility engineer has as a responsibility, within the framework of a contract to ensure the good design of the material of the networks of piping as well at the technical level as on the level of the cost. Issue technical part of inquiries, bid analysis and order for piping supports components. Interface with other Piping specialists, project specialists and designers. Co-ordinate technical activities performed inside or outside the company.
TASKS:
A -Development Technology know how & Commercial support,
B - Feasibility
C - Bidding phase / Commercial proposal development
D - Project Execution
Candidate should have experience in Piping Stress analysis, Sizing calculation of the piping.
Should have experience in CAESAR-II, Spring load Analysis, Navies or Seismic
1) Is responsible for the quality, respect of budget and respect of project schedule for piping flexibility analysis tasks
2) Reviews the Client"s technical documentation and requirements
3) Is responsible for the design of all piping supports components
4) Issues project piping flexibility (Stress analysis) specification and critical lines List
5) Performs calculations of critical piping networks
6) Issues loads to allow the design of pipe-rack and foundations
7) Issues technical part of requisitions for all piping supports components required by flexibility analysis
8) Issues technical bid evaluation for all piping supports components offers
9) Issues technical part of requisitions for all piping supports components purchase orders
10) Checks sub-contracted discipline engineering documents in accordance with the scope of piping flexibility section
Education and Experience:
B.E/B.Tech/ M.Tech in Chemical/Mechanical Engineering
15-20 years of experience
