Major client within the Marine and Oil & Gas Industry are seeking an experienced marine Project Engineer for their operations office based in Aberdeen.
Candidates are required to undertake mooring analysis in compliance with code requirements of bodies such as DNV, ABS & API.
Maintain a thorough understanding of the application and limitations of, various types of mooring equipment.
Liaise with clients to provide optimal moorings solutions.
Provide in-house mooring analysis to clients.
Identify and evaluate new engineering opportunities and liaise with Operations and Sales Managers to aid in commercial evaluation.
Prepare AutoCAD drawings for mooring projects.
Candidate requires to hold an HND Mechanical/Marine Engineering qualification and experience, knowledge of drilling industry and equipment used in offshore mooring operations.
