Position - Pipeline Engineer . Location - Mumbai.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: BE or B Tech in Mechanical / Chemical Engineering.
SPECIFIC SKILLS : Project engineering for pipelines.
INDUSTRY SPECIFIC SKILLS : Knowledge of pipelines scope involving subsea pipeline route surveys, pipeline engineering, pipeline coating and fabrication works, laying, flushing, hydrotest and commissioning works along with related onshore pipeline works and shallow water.
EXPERIENCE : + 5 year's experience in coordination and Project Management for Oil and Gas Offshore Pipelines in an Engineering consultancy or EPC contracting company.
ROLE DESCRIPTION / PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Subsea Pipeline Engineer role shall involve:
Review of the complete tender document, addendum, revision, annexure etc w.r.t Scope of work, Technical specifications.
Coordinate with Engineering centers for identification of all engineering deliverables
Good for Ordering MTO' s of subsea piping bulk
Prepare preliminary Subsea Route Plans. Review of the drawings and documents for their correctness w.r.t interface with structural.
Resolving client/TPI comments.
Coordinate for carrying out expansion analysis, flow simulation, wall thickness calculation, stability analysis, anode arrangement and distribution, stress value analysis ,etc.
Prepare /coordinate pipeline alignment drawing, riser location drawing, crossing designs etc.
Coordinate/prepare specifications/datasheets for subsea pipes and fittings-valves, bends, support etc. scrutiny of vendors quote for completeness and TBA.
Coordination for finalization of fabrication and installation methodology with the installation contractor and provide technical support.
Coordinate of flushing, hydrotesting and commissioning agencies and associated activities including pigging operations.
Interpretation of pipeline survey reports ,routings and familiarity with codes like API 1111,ASME B31.8,
BS 8010-3:193,ABS,ASTM,NACE,BS and DNV codes and other applicable international codes for Subsea pipelines generally used in sub sea pipelines design, construction and installation.
