Position - Piping Layout Engineer/ Lead Engineer Piping
Location - Chennai
Qualification - Should be B.E or B.Tech in Mechanical or related Engineering from Reputed university
Job Responsibilities
* Capable of generating conceptual layout mark-up based on site inputs, project data, and design basis.
* Understanding safety and international codes and standards to use and apply for EHS requirements during layout development.
* Familiarity with inter discipline work process and co-ordination, Design review using 3D software and team checking.
* To understand equipment criticality to assess the impact on layout, space reservations, maintainability, operability and constructability requirements.
* Use of Standard practices to engineer equipment, packages, pipe racks, storage areas Etc.
* Effective communication skills for net working and supporting sites and global resources.
* Exposure to site or manufacturing units is added advantage.
* To lead a team of people in an effective way to work for project deliverables meeting schedule and quality requirements.
* Use of soft ware for model review, and comments, to have presentation skills to explore technical aspects , project status and opportunities.
* To clarify design related issues during engineering and guide team members for effective resource utilization and time.
* Familiarity with any of this software is mandatory like, PDS/SP-3D/ PDMS, Micro station/ AutoCAD, SPR, CAESAR/Auto pipe/Caepipe, Marian.
* Very good in communication English and high on interpersonal skills.
* Stable candidate with minimum of 2 years spent with current organization.
