Experience Required: - HND/ HNC / ONC / OND or equivalent in relevant Engineering discipline and a minimum of 6 years field experience in the Instrument maintenance of equipment"s in Steam Generation, Water treatment, Oil & gas systems.
Industry Preference: - Oil and Gas Industry.
Job Description:-
Purpose of the Job:-
To operate the total integrated Production system, ensuring that production and environmental targets are realized in a safe and efficient manner whilst maintaining operational integrity of the assets.
Good knowledge and understanding of the Instrument maintenance procedures of all kinds of process equipment"s used in Steam, Water and Oil/Gas systems.
A good knowledge of relevant E&P operations, procedures and practices.
Self-motivated and is required to have leadership skills.
Should be aware of HSE and process safety requirements.
Fully computer literate, good communicator and organizer.
Ability to perform as a team player.
Demonstrated knowledge of applicable codes, standards, and legislation pertaining to Process Instrument and Control Engineering.
Training less experienced staff in Instrument maintenance activities.
Principal Accountabilities:-
Asset related:-
To maintain plant equipment"s and accessories as per the approved procedures to ensure minimum deferment of Oil and Gas at Minimal Flaring.
Signatory for Permit to Work activities within area of responsibility - as licensed and advised by Supervisor.
Ensuring adherence to appropriate HSE procedures, take effective action to control emergencies and contain hazards within area of responsibility.
Accountable for maintaining all equipment and systems on a continuous operational process plant whilst maintaining Asset Integrity.
Business Processes related:-
Execute all Instrument maintenance activities in the steam generation, water treatment and Oil/Gas process plants according to schedule / plan.
Interfacing with Process Supports, Programmers, Infrastructure sections & Maintenance Services staff and Contractor staff during normal operations, breakdown & routine maintenance works.
Responsible for ensuring implementation and adherence to the requirements of the HSE management system and QARN ALAM STEAM OPERATIONS HSE procedures/guide lines such as operation HSE case and emergency response.
Assist in developing and producing work packs as per O&E process guide and Work Preparation, Scheduling and execution process guide.
Execute all assigned work tasks in line with agreed plant operating philosophies, and in line with approved Maintenance Craft Procedures and work practices.
Report to Instrument Work Preparer on status of daily activities and work progress
Assist Instrument Work Preparer to control and plan work activities.
Interface with other maintenance/service department staff to coordinate breakdown or routine maintenance work on facilities and plants.
Provide input into the 90 day and 14 day planning cycles and insure SAP is populated with quality data and information.
Take effective action to control emergencies and contain hazards within area of responsibility.
Coordinate vendors work and input to the final findings and recommendations reports.
