Need of the "Head Pipeline" for one of their Oil and Gas Projects at Oman. Below are some of the details:
Candidate experienced in pipeline projects and knowledge in design with oil and gas exposure is required.
Qualifications : Degree in discipline specific engineering (B.Sc./B.Eng/M.Sc) and membership of internationally accepted applicable professional Institute.
Experience : Minimum 15 years experience in the design and specification of upstream oil & gas facilities with extensive experience in conceptual studies, front end and detailed design.
Fully conversant with relevant International (ANSI, ASTM, API, BSI, IP, ISO, ASME, IEC, IEEE etc.) standards.
Minimum of 5 years experience as discipline head or as senior discipline engineer.
Due to extensive use of European standards, must have proven successful experience for large European clients with facilities built in UK/Europe to UK/European standards.
Experience with Company and/or Shell Group projects and standards (SPs / ERDs and DEPs) is strongly preferred.
Field experience in construction & commissioning is strongly preferred.
Specific : Fully conversant with pipeline design codes (API5L, API6D, NACE, ANSI/ASME B31.4, 31.8, VIII, IX). Experience with GRE pipelines, hot tapping and stoppling of pipelines.
