Introduction
1. Yatra Pilgrimage Tour (YPT) headquartered in Mumbai is a leading operator in the yatra (pilgrimage) travel segment.YPT is proposing to conduct an exclusive yatra to Kailash Manasarovar for interested yatris. Concepts relevant to ancient Indian scriptures and culture will be provided as the 'knowledge input' during the yatra.
2. Pujya Swami Sukhabodhanandaji is performing yeoman service to society in the form of providing shelter to the homeless, providing artificial limbs & calipers for people from impoverished background, providing scholarship for meritorious students irrespective of caste, creed and religion and in several other ways. Pujya Swamiji is the author of several books in over 100 titles in different languages on managing stress and tension, meditation, karma yoga, life management and parenting. 3. YPT has requested Pujya Swamiji to consent to leading a Yatra during May 2013 which Swamiji has accepted.
Yatra Details
4. Basic proposed yatra details are as follows:
- 13 days overland yatra and 10 days heliyatra, ex Kathmandu.
- The dates of yatra would be between 22nd May to 3rd June, 2013 for overland group and for heliyatra group it would be 22nd May to 1st June 2013.
- Yatra size, minimum 64 pax for overland yatra and minimum 32 pax for heliyatra.
- Yatris will be enmarked depending on overland or heliyatra for onward journey ex Kathmandu, details of which will be communicated by YPT.
- The overland package would be Rs.1,13,399/- per yatri and Rs.1,74,222/- for heliyatra per yatri (inclusive of taxes, ex Kathmandu).
- Everyone is aware that Kailas yatra is one of the most difficult yatra in this world and Tibet has very basic infrastructure. Even at some places they do not have basic water pipe lines and toilet facilities.
- YPT would make every possible effort to give the best available facility in those remote place. One of the partners in YPT would be there personally to take of yatris.
5. The yatris will have the benefit of Pujya Swamiji's inputs in relevant field of Indian philosophy and culture in an innovative format. In addition, yatris can benefit from sessions like pranayama, yoga and other traditional Indian concepts.
6. YPT will provide, personalized attention, 'take away kit' containing Pujya Swamij's authored books & cassettes and an exclusive hamper for future spiritual practice after the yatra.
