Critical Requirement:
Main accountabilities:
Responsible for correctness of all engineering deliverables.
Ensure engineering deliverables issued in a timely manner, to an acceptable level of technical quality and with the appropriate level of reviews completed
Familiar with Standards related to offshore design such as, ASME/ ASTM/ API/ DNV/ BS/ OISD/ NACE and other international codes.
Candidate Desired Profile
Shall have at least 5 years of experience in design of Static equipment (Pressure vessels, columns, etc).
Shall have experience in detail engineering for rotary equipment like pumps, compressors etc.
Shall have experience in handling packages like Desalination, Gas Dehydration, Produced Water treatment, Desander etc.
Shall have in depth know-how of Offshore Well head Platforms, Process Platforms, FPSO"s etc. Shall be well verse with equipments like separators, Pig Launcher/ Receiver, X-mas tree, Flow lines, Production Manifold, Test Manifold, Gas Lift, Water injection, Fire water, Chemical Injection System, Vent boom etc.
Shall ensure the delivery of engineering deliverables to the projects by allocating the resources and coordinating with other disciplines. Offshore platform pre engineering survey, site visits, HSE and quality review.
Shall prepare proposals, deliverables and Man-hour estimates for bidding purpose
Job Description : Mechanical engineers having experience in preparation of Material Requisition, Datasheets, Technical bid evaluation, Vendor Print review, assistance in commissioning / trouble shooting at site for Rotating equipments like Compressors, Pumps, Turbine and Package Equipments. Material handling equipment like Extruder, Pneumatic Conveying System, Catalyst Activator system, Bag Filter etc. Should have exposure in relevant International codes.

* Preparation / Review of Man hour Estimates, and assistance to HOD/GL in project activities,
control of man hours and review of any change in scope of work.
* Preparation / Review of drawings, Document control schedule.
* Guidance to Job Engineers / Draftsmen in all activities as required.
* Preparation of equipment layouts and piping conceptual layout drgs. for
refineries/petrochemicals/ offshore oil and gas sector.
* Understanding of statutory requirement pertaining to piping study drawings development
* Preparation of piping design basis and development of piping and valve material specification.
* Review of piping design drawings including GAD"s, Isometrics, supports, bill of materials.
* Review of stress analysis and nozzle load analysis.
* Review of enquiry documents /material requisitions /technical bid analysis and purchase
requisitions.
* Preparation of construction tender specifications, review of contractor drawings and documents.
* Development and upgradation of technical specification and standards.
* Planning of resources and job allocation.
* Working knowledge of PDS/PDMS,SPR,Navis works
* Progress monitoring and reporting.
* Concept of quality control and quality assurance as per ISO 9001:2008.
* Ensure quality of deliverables.
