Wonderful opportunity to work in the Sultanate of Oman with Velosi for onshore oil & Gas / Petrochemical industry. Company is the foremost exploration and production company in the Sultanate.
POSITION: Multi Discipline Inspector- Interior site based
Total Experience: 12 years (5 Years onshore Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industries or Welding Inspector) (2 years minimum experience in painting inspection)
Salary: Negotiable
Educational Qualification: B.E Preferably in Mechanical Engineering or Welding Engineering or Metallurgy.
Job Description:
1. Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering or Welding Engineering or Metallurgy
2. Welding Inspection Qualification, (CSWIP 3.2 or AWS -Sr. CWI or ERS or equivalent)
3. Good knowledge of NDT techniques and shall possess Radiographic Film Interpretation, UT, PT, MT (ASNT Level II or PCN or equivalent) qualifications
4. Painting Inspection Qualification (BGAS/ERS 2 or NACE or equivalent)
5. Suitably trained and qualified in HDPE, GRE for quality control and inspection from reputable institutions like TWI
6. At least 12 years experience in inspection, welding, radiographic interpretation, fabrication, construction and maintenance.
a) Out of 12 years 5 years shall be gained in onshore Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industries, preferably in PDO environment.
. b) 5 years minimum as Welding Inspector
c) 2 years minimum experience in painting inspection
7. Fully familiar with ASME/API/ANSI and BS used in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industries and conversant with the Company ERDs, SPs including Shell DEPs,
8. Good experience in review and approval of Material certificates, NDE, Painting, Welding procedures (Duplex and 13Cr SS) and welder qualification; PE liner fusion welding procedures and qualification of welders and welding procedures, GRE pipe adhesive jointing procedures and qualifying operator
9. Specialist manufacturing knowledge of the plant equipment or material to be inspected.
Multi Discipline Inspector (site based)
Salary : OMR.1000/-per month (based on experience and qualification)
Food, Accommodation & Transportation : Provided by company
Leave : 62 days followed by 29 days unpaid rest days with return ticket
Hours of work : 10hrs x 7 days a week at site
Status : Single
