Job Purpose
TO FILL UP A SENIOR POSITION IN THE LOSS PREVENTION GROUP OF ED-RPTL TO EXECUTE VARIOUS DETAILED ENGINEERING PROJECTS LIKE J-3 Os & Us, REFINERY EXPANSION/MODIFICATIONS, PETROCHEMICAL PROJECTS FOR VARIOUS SITES, ETC.
Accountabilities
No. Key Accountabilities
1 Preparation of basic engineering documents such as design basis, scope documents, specifications, philosophy, reports, etc. related to active & passive fire protection system
2. Preparation of various LP deliverables such as P&IDs, Safety layouts, Hazardous area classification, fire proofing schedule and drawings, fire and gas detector layouts, etc.

Prepare calculations using pipe-net for large scale networks, hydrants and spray system, preparing reports for same
4 Supervision of engineering documents/drawings/calculations generated by juniors & to ensure quality, correctness & safety of design
5 Interaction with all other engineering disciplines, attending model reviews & other project co-ordination meetings with in house departments and client/construction sites
6 Prepare schedules and plan resources allocation as well as be able to complete engineering within budgeted man-hours
7 Preparing material requisition (along with BOQs) for various loss prevention related items like hydrants, monitors, etc. Also preparation of work order for engineering subcontractors

Should have/had adequate exposure to working in a cross-discipline environment and should be aware of how LP vs. other disciplines interact and how they mutually affect each other
