• Probable Duration of Shutdown: 45 to 60 days
• Shutdown start date : August / September 2017
• Candidates must have Oil & Gas, Refinery / Petrochemical Experience in Construction / shutdown

 Qualifications & Experience 

• The Workshop Engineer shall be a graduate with a Graduate in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum ten (10)+ years experience in Petrochemical/Oil & Gas plant maintenance, piping /structural works & shutdown experience with a good knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management System (SAP / MAXIMO / TEROMAN etc.).
• Workshop Engineer shall have sound knowledge of International Engineering Codes & Standards
• Must have a good command of English, both spoken & written.
• Primary Tasks:
• Manages a multi-disciplinary team of Contractors supervisors & technical manpower, providing engineering & management direction, such as design reviews, resource planning & allocation, quality & safety.
• Prepares reviews method statements, procedures, work execution plans & specifications & engineering problems.
• Studies critical lifting & rigging tasks, maintains lifting equipment, color coding third party Inspection & the like.
• Supervise maintenance / repair activity on stationary & rotary equipment.
• Coordinate activities such as fabrication & installation of piping/structures, welding, machining, metal cutting, rolling, welding & brazing, assembly, fabrication of tools & equipment.
• Maintain close liaison with Maintenance Engineers & Shutdown Planning
• Engineers to inform them job progress & completion.
• Liaises with engineering consultants & external third party Inspectors.
• Validating the work lists & referring it to the Sr. Workshop Engineers for approval.
• Provides adequate support for all pre-commissioning & commissioning activities.
• Resolving day-to-day execution issues on behalf of his team.
• Assist in planning of all unplanned work.
• Monitoring execution team performance & adjusting requirements where necessary.
