Responsibilities & Tasks:
The Piping Mechanical will be able to provide design engineering solutions for Piping & mechanical engineering projects. Design co-ordination experience within multi-disciplined teams, industry knowledge and experience in petrochemical pipework/pipeline design (mainly Natural gas).
The Piping Mechanical Engineer will:
Prepare detailed design reports/specifications/component data sheets
Engineering Calculations
National Grid knowledge of relevant codes, standards and legislation
Project Document control
Liaise with team and other disciplines
Act as a design coordinator leading/managing a team
Manage delivery of work scope
Approve engineering reports, calculations etc..
Lead and attend design meetings
