Job Description / Responsibilities:
Head Piping group and Lead & Develop a team of Piping personnel, comprising of Materials, Layout & Stress groups. Need to develop training schedules, capacity planning, Guide Piping team in Project Estimation & Proposals, Oversee Project Quality programs & grow a team.
Desired profile & Experience (in yrs)
20 - 25 years of relevant experience in Piping Design for Oil & Gas projects.
Should hold similar position and managing a large Piping design Group being responsible for
* Conceptual and detailed piping design calculations, equipment sizing and weights.
* Piping and equipment layouts, plot plans, elevations and section drawings.
* Piping and Pipeline studies and analysis, using typical stress analysis software.
* Piping material classification and valves specifications
* Master equipment lists and data sheets.
* Piping Isometrics and Material Take off List (MTO)
* Mechanical equipment requisitions.
* Provide inputs to the process group during P&ID generation.
* Participate in Risk Assessment, HAZOP and Constructability reviews.
* Interactions with inter disciplines and external agents viz. Client, Contractors, Vendors.
* Should have good knowledge on PDS, SP3D etc
