LPG Construction Specialist for World's Leading Infra and LPG Group - Kuwait

 Looking for a Construction Specialist for the LPG Facilities with details as under 
Location - Kuwait 
Project - Gas Bottling Plant. 
Salary - USD 15K - 19K per month 

Duration - 8 months from August 2013 to March 2014 

Principal responsibilities of the LPG Facilities Specialist - Construction 
The LPG Facilities specialist is to co-ordinate and manage the works of the various process systems like the LPG loading / unloading, storage tanks, LPG pumps and compressors, 12Kg and 25 Kg bottling plant, private filling facility, cylinder storage etc., with the respective site engineers. He will also provide and oversee co-ordination between other services and the LPG process installations. He is to assimilate all information and report directly to the Deputy Project Manager. His principal responsibilities are as follows (but not limited to): 
Ensure performance of the work in strict accordance with the drawings, plans and specifications. 
Maintain a detailed record of the day work activities for the LPG and process related building services issues, work approved or rejected, hours of operations, labour and equipment used, etc. 
Monitor and recommend shop drawing submissions and approvals for his area of work (related to LPG process), review updating of drawing schedule to ensure smooth construction progress. 
Monitor materials submission and approvals for his area of work (related to LPG process) and review updating of materials schedule to ensure smooth construction progress. 
Management of construction of process structures like storage tanks, loading / unloading equipment, bottling plant, piping, pump-room etc, inspection and testing. 
Co-ordinate with the Contractor"s construction manager in charge of the work on a regular basis to ensure that work is progressed in a smooth manner.. 
Co-ordinate and supervise with the building services / utilities discipline engineers to ensure that the relevant sections of works are co-ordinated, supervised, inspected and completed in an acceptable manner. 
Ensure record of all related Requests for Information (RFIs) and Request of Inspection Notices (RINs) are maintained and that all are/have been actioned appropriately. 
Direct and co-ordinate fabrication and installation activities related to LPG process equipments and works to ensure products and systems conform to specifications. 
Report to the DPM any failure of the Contractor to conform to drawings, plans and specifications and to provide good workmanship. 
Liaise with the Programme Planner concerning progress of the works. 
Ensure that the works are being constructed to the latest approved construction and shop drawings. 
Liaise with the Contractor`s utility and design personnel to ensure timely application for statutory permits / approvals for LPG transport/storage and Civil Defence requirements. 
Liaise with the HSE & QC Officers and ensure that works are compliant with the Contractor"s HSE & QC plan at all times. 
Monitor Contractor"s production of as-built documentation and records. 
Review and witness all relevant pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.
