Position: Engineering Manager
Experience: Minimum 10 yrs of working experience on Oil and Gas
Offshore platforms projects in an Engineering consultancy or EPC
contracting company.
Qualification: BE or B.Tech in Mechanical / Structural / Chemical Engineering
SBG/ Unit: Hydrocarbon Upstream SBG/ International Oil & Gas Projects
Location: Mumbai
Key Responsibilities
- A leadership role to ensure successful Engineering Management for an
EPC Project covering all the associated Disciplines- HSE, Structural,
Mechanical, Process, Pipelines, Piping, E & I for Oil and Gas Offshore
Projects.To ensure timely completion of engineering this is safe,
reliable and reasonably accurate.Requirement of Client interface is a
key function along with regular activities of interactions with
Fabrication Yard, Procurement, QA&I, HSE, Engineering agencies and
planning and reporting of Engineering functions.FEED Endorsement as
per the Client's technical requirement.Experience in Greenfield &
Brownfield works including Pre- Engg Surveys.Ensuring Generation of
Engineering Deliverables including RFQ's , MTO's , Technical Bid
Evaluations, incorporation of vendor data etc. Weekly Progress
Reports, Department Schedule, integrating Engineering plan in an
integrated Project Planning schedule. Debottlenecking Engineering
Deliverables, Provide technical support /coordinate with vendors /yard
for execution and pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.
Familiarity with relevant API, ASME, DNV, and other codes applicable
to offshore Oil and Gas facilities.Facilitate Knowledge Management
through sharing of the lessons learnt /relevant past project
experience and support the Engineering Head to leverage engineering
capabilities of discipline engineers. Initiate and participate in
HAZOP,HAZID and other safety studies
Specific Skills:
- Past Experience of Engineering Managers role in an EPC organization
/ Engineering Consultancy for Upstream Projects having handled
Wellhead Platforms and Pipelines of >100m$.
- Knowledge of South East Asian Region is preferred
